The Director
From the backyard school of filmmaking Garth Donovan has been making
films since his early teenage years. He has made two award-winning
feature films, the first of which, “Everyone’s Got One,” is being distributed
by Film Threat in 2008. Currently, Garth has just finished “Cubby
Knowles,” starring actor/filmmakers Alex Karpovsky and Andrew Bujalski.
It is the first feature in Garth's AMERICAN TRASH TRILOGY – a series of
three feature films, all funded by recyclable cans and scrap metal (that the
director collects himself) — that all comment on how American values are
becoming trash.
The Film

But maybe it’s the bond he has with his young nephew or his sister’s pleads to become more responsible, he’s starting to think it’s time to get his life together. But is his tragic life past saving?
